First Responder's project

The story behind the Story
Timea E Nagy is a Globally known Survivor/Advocate. Timea was 21 when she accepted a summer job offer to work in Canada with Hungarian families. Unfortunately, the agency was an International Organized Crime ring that trafficked hundreds of Eastern European girls into sex trafficking. Timea managed to escape, and after one year of hiding, she finally came forward. Luckily she found Police Officer Mike Josifovic. Mike believed in her and became her #1 support over the next few years. Without his passion, dedication, and support, Timea would have never made it through the most challenging stages of recovery. 10 years later, Timea founded Canada’s first safe house and assisted in nearly 500 Police investigations, and helped over 400 victims to find freedom and start their healing journey.

During that time, Timea had the honour to witness firsthand the emotional, personal, and financial sacrifices Police officers, Front line workers, and Service Providers made every single day, not to mention the decisions they had to make in life-and-death situations. As a former producer, she is brushing up her skills under her new company Pure Purpose Productions, to find another way to give back to the very community that saved her and hundreds of others.

First Responders Project is a show that will honor First responders for their ongoing sacrifices.
