CANADA’S NEWEST PRODUCTION COMPANY IS SET TO SPOTLIGHT THE COUNTRY’S UNSUNG HEROES

 Best-selling Author, Producer and Advocate Timea Nagy-Payne and Actor, Director and Writer Dan Payne are set to launch their newest venture, Pure Purpose Productions Ltd, this summer.  With a mission to inspire, Pure Purpose Productions is a new-age production company with a goal to create content that will motivate the masses to find their unique purpose. By sharing uplifting stories of resilience through several production and delivery methods, Pure Purpose Productions is poised to make its mark on the entertainment industry while sending a positive boost to the wellness and morale of those near and far. The company plans to create a diverse set of programming, including live-to-air variety, docuseries, reality series, and online digital content.

Timea Nagy-Payne and Dan Payne are renowned changemakers in the spaces of charity, non-profit organizations, law enforcement, and more. Through various initiatives, they have been responsible for bringing millions together to raise awareness for a vast number of needy causes and organizations. Pure Purpose Productions will debut with their first project, highlighting First Responders across Canada this year. An exciting new docuseries spotlights the inspiring—often untold and uncelebrated—stories of heroes living among us, serving our communities in healthcare, education, and more. The twelve-part series will journey through Canada’s many cities and towns to discover the incredible men and women behind the badge, doing incredible things for our country and beyond. The program will spotlight heroic Canadian first responders from coast to coast who are demonstrating exceptional acts of heroism in their everyday lives.

 

Pure Purpose Productions and the TV series featuring First Responders and their heroic acts is set to start shooting the pilot in the Fall.

About Timea E Nagy-Payne, Co-Founder:

Timea E Nagy-Payne is a Co-Founder, Executive Producer, and a globally known Canadian as a Human Rights Activist and Best-Selling Author. Timea was the owner of her first production company, Independent Movie Makers, at the age of 16 in Hungary, Budapest. As a producer, Timea produced, directed, and edited news segments for local Budapest television channels, as well as anchored live-to-air shows, for over three years. Notably, Timea has also written, produced, and directed music videos for a variety of Hungary’s up-and-coming and legendary musicians, most of which aired on major Hungarian networks at the time (MTV1, VIVA, and more). As a Content Creator and Presenter at her most recent company, TC Online Institute, Timea co-produced hundreds of hours of educational materials on Human Trafficking Detection for Canadian and American Law Enforcement and the financial sector. Pure Purpose Productions is a natural fit for Timea’s passion for bringing people together, raising awareness about great causes, and continuing to inspire millions around the world.

 

About Dan Payne, Co-Founder:

Dan was born in Warrenville, Illinois to his mother, a children's theatre director, and father, a drama teacher. As a third-generation writer, performer, and storyteller, it was natural for Dan to choose the College of Dupage and Western Illinois University for Theatre and the Arts when it came time to choose his career path. As a young actor, he was awarded the John Belushi Memorial Scholarship award and received several nominations for the Irene Ryan Awards. As fate would have it, his personal life led him to Canada in 1995, where he continued to lend his creative talents and support to the cast of Medieval Times Toronto as Director and Show Manager. In 2006, he started his own production company, producing, directing, and editing hundreds of hours of digital and audio content for the private sector. In 2011 he returned to his first love and reclaimed his spot in the theatre by joining the team at Drayton Entertainment, one of Ontario's largest theatre companies.
